Ocean-inspired Series raising awareness about the effects of Climate Change

This summer I completed a new series of abstract artworks, inspired by the ocean and the climate change. In the gallery below you can find artworks showcasing the beauty of our oceans, from underwater volcanoes and waterfalls to the bio-luminescent creatures dwelling in the abyssal depths.

All these wonders are in danger due to the climate change. Earth`s climate is warming up due to human activities. We all have seen temperatures rising up in the recent years: milder winters and scorching summers. How is this impacting the oceans? It is simple! Higher the temperature of the ocean goes, faster the oceanic currents are altered, acidifying fragile eco-systems. I am sure you have noticed changes in weather patterns in the area you live!

The oceans plays an important role in regulating the Earth`s climate, that is why we need to embrace faster the shift to a low-carbon economy

In order to have a better look at the painting and see its details, please click on the image of your choice and a new window will open, displaying a bigger view of the selected artwork. I hope you`ll enjoy this pictorial!
