LYMED UP showcases life experienced or seen through the lens of a “Lymie” (Lyme sufferer). All figurative artworks illustrate an invisible symptom of chronic Lyme disease or are inspired by a Lyme-related problem.

My Lyme Journey allowed me to rediscover life and see things in a new perspective. While fighting a controversial illness, partially denied by half of the medical community, I discovered art and painting with acrylics is what kept me going throughout the years. Art became my therapy and one of my favorite mediums for raising awareness about this infamous illness.

My son and I, we are participating at the Georges Laoun Opticien (map) and Espace d’Expressions et de Création group exhibition , the 11th consecutive group exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of Black History Month, with the theme: Path (Cheminenement).
